Park Ridge Panthers
Park Ridge Panthers is a family friendly club, located at Hubner Park, Park Ridge.
Park Ridge started in 1987 with one Junior side in the Beaudesert Junior Association.
Park Ridge Panthers moved to MSW Junior Association in 2010 to have our Juniors play in a more competitive Association with 130 plus teams.
In 2003 the Panthers introduced Seniors and installed a Turf wicket to play in the Queensland Sub-District Association with one team which has grown to 4 teams today.
In 2010 Park Ridge Panthers installed a second Turf wicket which is used for Junior and Senior cricketers. We expose our Juniors on Turf wickets at an early age and we encourage them to strive to play Queensland Junior District cricket either at Champion or Development level and during the 2015/2016 season we had 8 players involved in U12, U13 and U15 teams.
Park Ridge also has two past Junior players come back to assist in one on one coaching and some team coaching. Joshua Henderson who is a current 1st Grade player at Redlands is a fast bowler and a talented batsman and has worked with many of our Juniors and Seniors to improve their skills in the game of cricket. Luke Haegel who is a current grade cricket player at Redlands and has also been working and assisting our Junior players improve and enjoy their cricket.
During this upcoming Summer Cricket season, Queensland Cricket will be running a T20 competition at Hubner Park and any one interested should contact the Club.
New players are always welcome and enquiries should be directed to the Club Welcoming Officer Kylie Grant on 0422833284.
